I know they have astounding chutzpah but surely they wouldn't, would they? ;o)
Of course it's not the fault of the Tories. It's the EU I blame :-)
sorry to hear you're leaving us, NJ. ;-(
Lol
like almost everything in the last 24 years, it's MrsT's fault!
LOL, it probably is ;-)
EBOLA, Thought it meant Eton Boys On Lazy Afternoons.
YES TTT, How correct you are, Her son Mark probably brought it back with him when he got lost in the dessert with OUR 4X4.
I blame UKIP.
I blame people with Ebola getting on planes and coming to the UK.
Very worrying, there is a 2 week incubation period during which there are no symptoms. It does not become infectious until the symptoms appear so someone can get on a plane and be anywhere in the world before they know they have it, then it is 95% fatal.
I think this virus is like AIDS though in that it can only be carried by bodily fluids.
The Ebola virus is spread from person to person through contact with infected blood and body fluids. Doctors also believe that it passes through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Hospital workers are at high risk for Ebola during outbreaks, because they come into contact with blood and body fluids when they care for infected patients. Infected patients often die very quickly, limiting the opportunity for the virus to be transmitted to many other people. This may be why Ebola outbreaks have not become widespread.

I`m not sure it passes through the air when someone coughs or sneezes. There doesn`t seem to be any evidence of that.
I believe, like aids, it was caught off monkeys. Cant we genetically engineer them to be less 'attractive'?
It`s caught from fruit bats and other bushmeat.
So the BBC thinks its a good idea to send a reporter to the affected area!!!!!!! Are they mad?
No. They are not. The BBC reporter will be very unlikely to catch ebola.
puzzled54, please read the ways you can catch this before panicking about BBC coverage.

Why is this ill-informed speculation in News?
Would it not be better in Jokes?
