They can't be any more dangerous than the ones with humans at the controls. They're the ones you've got to worry about in my experience.

lol, it was really really hard to relinquish control like that, i didn't like it one bit although it was very clever and a better parallel parker then me :-) I don't think i would like to be in a driverless car, maybe in years to come they will be common place but for me now, i'd like to be in charge when im driving

park sensors and camera's are a bloody good idea and i think the sensors should be fitted as a safety measure and as standard

This'll be killed stone dead by lawyers and insurance companies. Even if it's technically feasable, the legal obstacles are vast.
