What the hell in happening, state owned banks have suddenly started making profits, unemployment has dropped ,GDP is up there are more people in work than ever, the recession is over, says Osborne .
Is there something happening in the year 2015, that we have not been told about Georgie Boy , how stupid do the Cons really think we are?

Its supposed to be called the er... 'feel good factor' kicking in from a not so 'broken Britain'...

Can you supply a Link to substantiate the above please?
There's a downside to everything:

By the way, unemployment has not fallen here in the north-east... Mrs Thatcher was well respected here when she said we were 'moaning minnies'...

Thanks Chris, appreciated!
True Farrier. I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear that we are the fastest growing economy in the developed world.

DEVELOPED? Ladybirder?

Farrier, give links a try, they are really simple, you should get on well!
;-)
That's typically inaccurate Daily Mail reporting, Ladybirder!

The IMF report expects the UK's economic growth to be the highest within the G7 group of nations. The Daily Mail correctly reports that as "Puts Britain ahead of the US, Germany, France, Canada, Japan and Italy" (since those are the other 6 members of G7) but then goes on to inaccurately state: "Britain will be the best performing major economy in the developed world", conveniently ignoring countries with far faster growing economies, such as China, India, Brazil and many others.
It also says the International Monetary Fund now expects the British economy to grow by 3.2 per cent this year, faster than every major economy. That'll do for me.
People who were in work have been working harder for the same pay through the 'recession' boosting productivity. Most people (myself included) haven't had a pay rise for several years, which are both skewing the figures.
We plebs will not profit by it.

Ladybirder, take of those rose coloured Spectacles, Germany has the fastest Rising economy , in your so called developed countries. You are obviously an Osbornite.
Farrier, have you checked property prices? You could be in for a bit of a bonus. ;o)
Like all statistics it tells only half the story. We started at a relatively low base after the Great Banking Fiasco triggered the recession so the rate of growth is bound to look higher than our competitors.
No, she's just making reference to this. Note it's the guardian.

What about my economic wellbeing? So sad, no debts or loans, some savings. What an idiot!
