We had a long heated debate on here about drug addicts recently and I was wold, quite tartly, that there was a difference between drugs addicts and recreational drug addicts. Well, here is another "recreational" drug user that won't be wasting any more of her money ::::

14 years on from her mothers similar self-imposed death, Peaches follows suit. I hope somebody will be watching her little child very closely for the rest of its life.

apparently she was on methadone, isn't that what they give you when you are trying to kick the habit Doesn't sound too "recreational" to me. In reality though these are highly addictive drugs and I'm not convinced they can be recreational.

That's a bit harsh. The very nature of her mother/father's deaths and subsequent upbriinging no doubt took it's toll on the poor girl, to the point where it tipped her over the edge on the anniversary of her mother's death.
Question Author
I wonder what the difference is between "recreational" drug use and drug addiction ?

I suspect that its when the stupid fool who takes the drugs dies. Still, there is one less addict to influence and poison the innocent now.
Question Author
Testical Chili...she was a drug addict...end of story. Someone who had much more money than sense.
It's testicle's mikey...............you're certainly talking them!

Just for info,

Peaches Geldof had two sons with Cohen, born in April 2012, (Astala Cohen), and April 2013,(Phaedra Cohen), respectively
"End of story", oh if the complexity of being human were so very simple.

What am I saying that is so wrong ? This woman was a drug addict, like her mother before her, and she died from that addiction. I just hope that her baby is in safe hands and well away from the lifestyle that killed her mother and grandmother. Zero tolerance of drugs is the only way forward.
Question Author
Thanks Baldric...so its two young kids that I hope are in safe hands then.
/Zero tolerance of drugs is the only way forward./

Does that include the #1 killer mikey; alcohol?
Zero tolerance of drugs is the only way forward.
-------------------
And obviously the same for those left without a mother at such a young age in such dreadful circumstances.
Question Author
Different debate and different subject Zeuhl, although its a debate worthwhile to be had.
Question Author
I have expressed by concern over "peaches" kids twice already on this thread chili, and I hope someone is looking after them properly and not exposing them to drugs and drug addicts.
/Different debate and different subject Zeuhl/

Indeed mikey

though some might ask why we would be so prohibitive on one person's choice of 'recreational poison' and not on another

a debate best had after a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio I think
Question Author
Nothing would please me better Zeuhl...heroin just makes me sleepy !
I'm talking about Peaches mikey, not her children.
Question Author
Something that she now inflicted on her own children Chili ! Very sensible decision on her part.
I too hope they will have long and healthy lives and that this won't leave the same legacy on them that Peaches has. However, losing their mother at such a young age can only be harmful for them. I agree with mamya- humans are not straight-forward and who knows what has been going through her mind since losing her own mum. I don't think anybody is in a position to be judgemental.
Very sensible decision on her part.
-------------------
As I intimated earlier, I'm sure that was the last thing on her mind as the balance of it on that day was no doubt disturbed, as her last 'tweet' bore out.
Grief and loss affects people in different ways I guess.
/..heroin just makes me sleepy ! /

that's not what Keef says LOL
