I know that this happened in America, but isn't this taking the gay marriage thingy a little too far?

Except that they are not "married". It is not legal for 3 people to marry. It is a very amusing article I thought - about them falling in love while baking cookies, one helping another with her make up before she goes to work etc oh and there is a baby on the way......
The marriage isn't legal.
Marriage is a religious institution. Period. Not religious, don't get married. Athiests, design your own institutions...
27 and 34 ?

They look like old hags .

I'll let others comment on this momentous world first
wrong scooping. It is perfectly possible to marry in the UK at a register office with not so much as a "bless you"

Whatever happened to the old saying, 'Two's company, three's a crowd' ?
If it makes them happy so be it...
none of the children born into this relationship will be confused eh ?

divebuddy, you nicked my best line there ^^^^^ ;-)
Why are we talking about three women who have decided to live together and have taken part in a sham marriage ceremony? Is that really news?
can you imagine a house with 3 people all with PMT at the same time?
Its called a quiet news day Naomi
Wrong Wolfgang. It is a question of terminology. You can't enter into a religious rite in a civil register office, even though people call it marriage. You can call it turnip if you like but it isn't.
Haha. Something like that.

Nice to see troilesbianism hitting the internet world....How many times do the 'options' go up by?
Marriage exists and has existed without the need for religion. It just so happens that in this country, it's traditionally associated with religions. But it also emerged as a social need too. So no, scoopings, a civil marriage is a marriage as legitimate as any other. Your terminology is wrong.

This particular relationship is not a legal marriage as the article acknowledges, but if that's what they want then... well their choice I suppose. I hope it works out for the children.
