Everyone has a right to be ' offended ' about anything - however isn't the reaction of those ' offended ' going too far ?

If the lower photo is anything to go by it was probably all a misunderstanding. People probably thought the one in the blue shirt was Ricky Gervais.
Huffington is a person, not a place.

You probably already know that though :)

Some people are almost professional in their 'outrage' - I have never understood it and probably never will.
Her political viewpoint seems as constant as the pointer on a weather vane.
"...At one time a liberal democrat she later became a popular conservative in the mid-1990s, after which she adopted liberal political beliefs in the late 1990s."
It is an offence against my eyesight, thats for sure. Thats surely worthy of the death sentence. They were lucky just having eggs thrown at them ;)
She is also the voice of a character in Seth McFarlanes "The Cleveland Show. "
If a man is going to wear a mankini anywhere, he should have first worked out at a gym for at least a year. Otherwise, it genuinely is offensive.
Just confirms my opinion of some folk in society; how they have problems acting in a reasonable manner. I guess one should be grateful they can think at all. It's just unfortunate when their desire to harm others comes to the surface. I doubt anyone will be charged with threatening behaviour though.
I can already feel my 'rage' and 'righteous hatred' welling up. What state I'll be in come Easter is anybody's guess.
I'm sure however that if I should find myself outraged to the point of violence towards those who choose to dress up as characters from Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves as they profess peace that a constable will have me transported to a place where justice will be swiftly dispensed.
As a certain Ali G never said, "is it because I is not black?"
if they only come in green i'm not buying one
// I doubt anyone will be charged with threatening behaviour though. //

So do I. They should be though. It sounds like arrests should have been made at the time.

Lol - easy mistake / assumption to make though - even for a star ship captain
"Some people are almost professional in their 'outrage'

oh yes, and theyre alive and well on AB and in all probability getting outraged and offended by all manner of things at this very second.
It is a case of over-reaction, there is no doubt about it.

There is never any excuse to intimidate people, epsecially not children.

It perhaps wasn't wise to walk through a Muslim area, but unwise decisions should not attract threats.

Thankfully it all ended without violence, and - as a politician somewhere will be saying even as i type - "Lessons have been learned ..."
yes.....they are not a very tolerant bunch, are they~? they are quick to whinge, imho and are the ones breaking the law.
It's not actually a muslim area though is it, it's an area with a large muslim population.
A muslim area is Pakistan, Egypt, Iran etc.
good point doug. when in rome.....
douglas - I take your point.
