Plainly he'd end up in Iran or Russia in the unlikely event that were to happen.
I think it's Cameron not ruling out any options at this stage.

If you don't give these people a way out they will simply keep fighting too the bitter end, and yes there no guarantee that this will stop the fighting as there are so many diffrent factions their. But it is just maybe the best chance of shortening the process. don't forget we had two civil wars over a long period in England to create our democracy so dont be suprised if these arab uprisings go on for years. And we need to keep our nose out an let them sort them selves out.
