G4S

Anyone else watching the parliamentary committee question the G4S boss?

What a cowboy company it is, a total con.

Not watching tv bibble, but I did read earlier that the Chief Exec may be forced to leave his £830.000 per year job but if he does go he will be on a £20million pay-off. G4s have taken the money and should now pay the consequence of their mismanagement. Nick Buckles should be sacked and be made to forfeit his payoff.

Mickey Mouse wants a G4S watch for Christmas.
Their MD has just said that they still intend charging a 'Management Fee'

of £57 million !

Beggars belief.

Buckles seems to be making up some figures as he's going along and gives a clear impression of being an incompetent nincompoop who shouldn't be in charge of anything, let alone having any responsibility for Olympic security.
Group 4 and Securicor used to be such well respected companies.

Where did it all go wrong?

an abba song comes to mind money money money
I've been out all day so didn't see this on the earlier news. Just heard on late news G4S have charged £57 MILLION - I am gobsmacked, how dare they? But I blame the organisers - they should have remembered several years ago the fiasco where, as Group Four Security, they kept losing prisoners as they took them between prisons and they became a laughing stock of a company - they are even worse now!
Yeah, I know, taking taxpayers money and then reneging on their promises.
Who do they think the are? Politicians?
I did watch the report and where this Jonathan King lookalike squirmed and wriggled like an caught fish, alongside his spiv sidekick, made me wonder why on earth how they got the contract in the first place. Buckles when asked when they should still receive the 57 million fee replied yes
it was like looking at a slow motion car crash. He and the company should be ashamed, and never work on any government contract again.

Did you see the part where he didn't know what fluent English is, even when asked if that was what was being spoken there and then? Totally risible.
i did see that, he was asked again and again, perhaps he was having a minor breakdown.. his mate looks like the bloke that sold you that dodgy second hand car.
