Many are up in arms how a mutual bank can award five directors £1m each this year. If you agree with this this petition it shows how you can stop it.

Interesting link pdq - but does the fact that NW is not a bank, it's one of the few remaining building societies, make a difference to the structure? The bonuses are obscene but NW still gives excellent service, which is more than you can say for the clearing banks.

(Rhetorical question since that degree of differential compared to the average wage it is clear that the only reasonable answer is 'no'.)
