i agree, both victims of terrorism. She could have packed it in, and not bothered, become bitter, but has turned what was a terrible thing into something amazing.

why can't we have role models like her to admire, as opposed to the vacuous and untalented. I am not suggesting that someone needs to lose their limbs, but to turn it around like this should merit a round of applause.

Indeed em. The Gurkha also. I have had the honour of serving in the Far East with these brave and loyal soldiers. I have a lot of respect and affection for them.

one thing about this, he was a serving soldier and as we know from the news that they are at risk no matter what. she on the other hand was a totally innocent victim of that atrocity. I wish we had more people around like these two.
