Ofgem is meant to keep a check on gas and electricity prices, but the average dual fuel bill is now a staggering £1,310 a year.

And while families struggle to keep their heads above water, officials have awarded themselves £1.12million of taxpayers’ cash.

Ofgem have paid £1million in bonuses since the Tories came to power.

You can only claim this is an improvement on Labour if you have evidence the bonus bill was higher prior to 2010. If you do not have that proof, then your statement is wrong.
