isn't is great those responsible taking the security threat serious and doing everything they can to thwart those amongst us who would threaten our way of life. Or do we cower aaway from getting on with life, missing out on sporting/cultural activities and all that goes with it. Do you not think these precautions will not be in place for the jubilee as well.

Why did they build the stadium in London? lots of places outside of london, near airports, no major road problems, somewhere near Gatwick for example.
the A12 road is going to be mayhem with athletes, police, visitors, army, airforce all using it. perhaps the navy could put a polaris sub up the thames then we could really have a mini war.
