he will......be patient
I dont for one minute think that this government will rest until they deport this murder inciting so called cleric. If it takes another year or two Abu Hamza will be on his way to the USA never to see daylight again !!
the great british justice system ... god bless us!

To be honest I think this will just drag and drag
I still dont understand
A) Why the French dont have this problem
B) What will be the result if we ignore the ECHR
I thought it was Abu Qatada we were supposed to be deporting I am confused
There was an article in The Times a few weeks ago which stated that other countries (France was given as one example) ignore the ECHR rulings whenever it suits them, with no action taken against them.
Surely, as France has set a precedence we can now follow suit, and suffer - if any - the consequence later.
France ignore anything that doesn't suit them that's why being in the EU works for them.
That's all part of being in the EU d9f1e7!!
Someone in government, perhaps the Home Secretary, in the course of speaking of this case, said that we would study France and Italy to see whether our system could be improved. Quite!
What could the EU or any European court do to us if we peremptorily deported anyone when our judges had said that he was to deported? I suspect not much.
At least this man is in custody until his appeal is decided.
Can't see any news report to back up this thread, but If it was up to the Left-Wing press, he would never be sent away.

I can't think anyone imagined he'd be on the next flight to Amman
I was hoping Sandy.
what a surprise, or not.
you mean Abu Qatada ?
Until we get someone in power with the balls to pull out of the ECHR and rewrite the HRA to stop pond life llawyers protecting scum like this at the expense of tax payers this sort of thing will continue.

And while they are at it pull out of Europe too.
Abu Hamza

and

Abu Qatada

are different people.

Hamza is avoiding extradition.
Qatada is avoiding deportation.

Abu is a common acronym for a manchester city supporter.
thats almost racist, gromit.
