My answer isn't there - none

However, as the government have told me I must drink 5 days a week - I guess I can click 4-5 evenings a week =)
Hate to poop parties and all that.
But could you put a 'less than once a week' option?

I can't be the only person who doesn't drink very often and it may give a better picture of the drinking habits of AB.

^ Does that even make sense?

Fix'd!
thanks for the poll Ed.

As I work weekdays and most weekends I only really have time on Sunday afternoons for a few beers. I've even knocked that on the head as I had enough of dozing off at 7pm on Sunday evening and feeling like rubbish after.
thanks Ed

JTH, less than once a week implies that you may drink once a fortnight, once every 8th day, once every 2 months - see where I'm going? lol
I don't with perhaps the exception of Xmas works do which I couldn't go on this year ergo I needed the box 'none' :)
what snags said. "How often do you drink" isn't the same as "How much do you drink". I drink often (every dinner) but not much (I keep telling myself).
As many as I can
Living on a diet of pills and injections since leaving the forces I have not had a drink for over two years. Can't say that it has bothered me that much, my mind has been on getting fixed and fit again so I can get back to some sort of work.
Ed, I don't drink any nights a week. I'm on Vodka all day and usually unconcious by 5pm until next morning.
True.
But as the recommended abstinence period is given in 'days per week', I thought it might be useful to compare those who do imbibe regularly with those who rarely do.........otherwise it may appear that 'everyone' on AB drinks to some extent during the week.
I drink once a week - on a Saturday night.

But come Saturday night, I really hose it down - a proper binge drink.

I'm one of those people who only have to sniff a pint or a cheeseburger and gain weight, so the reason I limit my drinking to a Saturday night is mainly so I don't become fat.

Plus, as I've got older, I can either work or have a hangover - I can no longer work with a hangover.
Not drinking alcohol is bad for you. People who are abstainers tend to die younger that those who have a modest amount daily. So all those health messages telling us not to drink and live longer are incorrect.

// But a new paper in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research suggests that - for reasons that aren't entirely clear - abstaining from alcohol does actually tend to increase one's risk of dying even when you exclude former drinkers. The most shocking part? Abstainers' mortality rates are higher than those of heavy drinkers. (See pictures of booze under a microscope.)
Moderate drinking, which is defined as one to three drinks per day, is associated with the lowest mortality rates in alcohol studies. Moderate alcohol use (especially when the beverage of choice is red wine) is thought to improve heart health, circulation and sociability, which can be important because people who are isolated don't have as many family members and friends who can notice and help treat health problems. //

I have a few vodkas frids and sats probably about 12-14 units. I am up 5 30 all week and just love to relax with a drink and chatting to friends those nights. I do think though there is a serious problem with the young people in some areas. No ammount of advice from goverment will stop them
I had a couple of heart attacks about 10 years ago. The Doctors at the time advised me to have a couple of pints a day to relieve any stress.
They said a couple of drinks would help to relax me.
As head cook in our house a nice dry sherry while cooking dinner is allowed.
Scotch is an occasional treat we sometimes have as a nightcap. As a bairn of 75 care is needed but when I get old and decrepit I shall drinks as much whisky as I wish.
