Surely, "pmsl" would have been more appropriate?
An insult to sheep Gromit, they - the perpetrators should wash their mouth out
haha
The mask slips - not for the first time. Medvedev used pretty crude language to refer to the Georgians after the 2008 war.
It is, basically, what you'd expect from ... a party of swindlers and thieves
I think that expression could be used much closer to home.
"I think that expression could be used much closer to home. "

It could be used wherever one feels like using it. It would be scarcely more appropriate, though, than when applied to "United (sic) Russia"
Amazing.
Nothing unusual coming from the Far-Left.

Communism ended in Russia 20 years ago, please pay attention. The country now embraces free market capitalism, hence the billionaires and corruption.
/// The country now embraces free market capitalism, hence the billionaires and corruption. ///

So does China but they are still Communist.
Speaking as someone who (and this may be a 'generation attitude) finds the entire notion of 'social networking' to be an excuse for people with nothing of interest to say to say it to other people of a similar pursuasion, I really cannot be bothered if a Russian politician is stupid enough to open himself up to an abuse of his communication systems in this way.

Was the smiley appropriate - i cannot summon the energy to even pretend to care!
Gromit they may have adopted capitalism but doesn't seem to apply to all, but a relatively small band of thieving shysters, as to Medvedev why do they expect any thing else, puppet and mouth piece to Putin.
AOG, is China really still a communist country?
China is still tighly controlled by a communist regime (and well on the way to the world domination that eluded the Soviet Union). Russia most certainly is not. Medvedev is about as far left as Margaret Thatcher.
Russian politics has nothing to do with our concept of "left" and "right" and probably never did.
It's ironic that Medvedev's getting exposed on Twitter, because it's the internet generation which is finally, with any luck, about to do for Putin and his gang of thieves. It may not happen quickly, but happen it will.
