Where can I buy a poppy from? Is there a shop? Either the simple paper one or the pin badge one will be fine.

No, there are trays in the shops, the RBL sellers will probably be out at the weekend too.

We even have them in Superdrug... nearly all shops have them. Around here anyway..
Sorry I didn't mean to be flippant, but I have seen SO many! They are on the counter in most pubs, clubs and shops.
I hope you are not planning on burning it.

That kind of thing is frowned upon here.
My husband is in the city too - and he hasn't seen them on sale there yet either.
I go to town shopping on Mondays and Fridays and I still haven't seen any poppies on sale and usually there is always someone selling them at the market entrance, so I haven't got mine yet! When I go to town on Friday, I'm going to have a good look round until I find a shop selling them.
Poppies are in shops etc from 29th October, street sellers from the 5th November.
paper ones all around up here..but where can I get the enamel brooch one?
The Poppy Organiser of you Local BL branch, but if you wait until the sellers are on the streets/ stations etc, if they haven't got them, they should be able to, or point you to a seller that
has.
Outside my local Morrisons this afternoon.
Lots of ways to add to funds here and some great ideas for gifts too, I found it was almost next day delivery too.

I bought some things from the Poppyshop last year as presents for other people for Christmas. They were all pleased with them - and my husband really likes his cufflinks, even though they're aren't his usual high quality ones. :o)
*they aren't.
I have already bought 2 poppies and had to throw them both away. I'm wearing a new coat, which means I put it over chairs slightly differently than my old one, which means that I keep reclining on the poppies by accident (even when I try not to) and make them look horrible/mangled. I also managed to destroy my umbrella last week which means they keep getting rained on. I think I'm going to wait until a few days before the 11th before I get #3...

I bought mines weeks ago from the local Co-Op.
