Actually cazzz1975 I'm in touch with a number of police, the youths and news reporters due to the nature of my work and we don't need an interview from every single person involved to get an idea of how things work either.

Thames Valley Police has helpfully issued a statement in which its Deputy Chief Constable, Francis Habgood, says: “There have been a lot of rumours circulating on social networking sites about ‘riots’, some of which are untrue or greatly exaggerated. However, there has been some disorder across the force area (in Oxford and Reading)."

16,000 Policemen on duty in London tonight. The MET supplemented by Police from other towns and cities which will be underforced if trouble, as it could, breaks-out in their home locations.
