This shows how a 'good showing' on TV can sway voters. Brown and Cameron both have much to lose, so they were cautious and careful not to put a foot wrong. Clegg had little to lose, so was much more relaxed, and it showed. Also, last Thursday's show (15th April) was on domestic policies, where the LibDems probably have the strongest appeal. This week it's on foreign policy where Clegg will struggle (I think) to match the other two, and next week it's on finance and he won't be able to put Vince Cable on the stand; he'll have to carry the show on his own.
