Sorry if I have asked this question before.

Is there such a thing with headphones with inbuilt radio in the headphones - NOT attached to like a MP3 or in the olden days Walkman.

If so, could somebody point me in the right direction - think I would enjoy them in bed. Thanks all.

well thanks for that but could you provide me with "better" ones as the reviews on those weren't good.
I just googled.
Question Author
ok - looked at other ones on Amazon and the reviews of those users were saying they could hear the "TV" better. As has been said I only want them for the inbuilt radio.

I need to be careful for what I order online.

Also what way are they charged - new batteries, rechargeable etc etc.
In my experience such headphones are rubbish for listening to the radio. I really wouldn't bother

well HC since I am quite deaf - anything going straight in at the ear 'ole is far far better for me.

I appreciate that you are deaf but the hissing and buzzing from this sort of headphone won't help.

Do you use wireless headphones for your tv?
Question Author
thanks baldric - have looked there and there is lots to choose from. Am going to peruse them now.
Question Author
no HC - nobody can believe how such a deaf person has her tv down so low. I use subtitles all the time.
Why can't you just have a radio by your bedside and buy an extension cable to plug standard headphones in?
Question Author
AOG - have tried that malarkey and between stuff on little bedside table.

Lamp
Flashing Light (for phone)
Phone
Buzzer

No room for radio.

You know I am just remembering some years ago I bought a Walkman and only used it about 4 times so it was fairly new.

I started to look for it a while back and couldn't fathom how the hell could you mislay a Walkman. You know what I am convinced that some worker I have had in has "taken" it. I always trust every single workman who comes here - but perhaps it was one I didn't know very well. Walkman has definitely gone walkabouts.

Walkman was kept in the back bedroom!
