How much (gross) did the UK contribute to the EU budget in 2010?

I have given up trying to get a straight answer from the internet as there does not seem to be ONE.
I heard on Radio 4 last week " that a 2% increase of 310million £ " for the 2012 contribution and thought that meant a 2% increase in the UK contribution ; by my calculation that would mean ( I think!) that the UK contributed 15.5billion £ in 2011, but different websites say different amounts - some as high as 65billion £ a year ... I can only assume that some are 'gross ' contributions and some ' net ' contributions .
Can anyone enlighten me please?

The UK's total national contribution to the EU budget for 2010 was €12.1458 billion, plus a further €14.6594 billion collected on behalf of the EU in respect of taxation upon goods imported into the EU from non-EU countries (referred to as 'Traditional Own Resources'). See page 60 here:
