Wasn't sure which topic to put this under, but is anyone having problems with winmx.

(Tue 08:53 15/Feb/05) Keep away from it!!! All you will get is loads of Spyware. Not quite as bad as Kazza, but still bad.I use LimeWire, www.limewire.com, its fast , easy to use, andin the past 6 months I have used it, I have had no propblems what-so-ever. Have fun!! | |

Somebody has found a way of getting fake files in the search. It only affects really popular songs and you can spot them because you get hundreds of finds but none of them start to download. As for spyware etc, I've been running winmx for 4 years without a single problem. |
