This person loves tennis, was on the charts for 14 wks, nicknamed Rod Stewart "Phillis", Can speak 5 languages, tried out for the band "Traffic" but didn't get in, amorous was this artists first hit. And has been in the business for 30 years.

 Bingo, Chillum. I heard Rod Stewart say on a talk show that Elton John called him Phyllis, and it came about because some of Elton's crew and band are gay, and they call each other by girl's names, so they dubbed him that.
