Wizzard was one and my husband reckons he was in ELO for a short time.

Yep have just googled and it was ELO Electric Light Orchestra.

Not strictly true. ELO was an off-shoot of the Move and the 2 bands were in existence at the same time in the early 70s, so ELO were formed before the Move split up! Wizzard were formed when Roy Wood left ELO, and he has formed various other bands since, such as the Wizzo Band, Helicopters, Roy Wood's Big Band, Roy Wood's Army. So ELO formed before the move split up, all others after!
