Who sang 'Today's Monday'?

This single was released about 1966 and sounded very much like the Scaffold but wasn't.
It had verses for each weekday, for instance;
'Today's Monday, today's Monday, Monday is roast beef, is every body happy? - - You bet your life we are!'
This became a real cult tune with our gang but now seems to have disappeared unless anyone out there can help? Please.
