Great band. RIP Walter.
Brilliant band :

Very sad, I have been a huge Dan fan since my teens in the '70's - a jazz band for rock fans with wit and intelligence.

Hope the band does carry on - they are too good to lose.
Another thread just above this one: Have A Tune For.
Fender when I put a thread up yours was not posted bud. I checked before putting up an OP, and the delay in yootoobing a tune set us apart. If your thread had been up where I could view I would have joined yours. Hope Ed can combine them. ASsyou and others are saying proper sad. Bet Murdo could find us a tune we have missed.
What a great band they were; was in a band on the same label as them in the 70s and marvelled at the playing on Aja when I got a pre-release copy - played it and played it. RIP Walter
