As much as I admire this great lady, I’ve heard extracts from her new album in adverts and I can’t imagine anyone who didn’t experience World War II buying it. I know I would never play it. Would you?

I would have said 'no' naomi until I read the clip and I see others who I admire are singing on it and the tunes remind me of my grandparents, so I may play it for nostalgia's sake.
no, not now.
Our neighbour perhaps, who was telling us the other day he had Vera sit in his bed during WWII once (in a pair of shorts as well)

ichkeria, Haaaa! Pleased you correct that one! I bet she will be too! :o)
I've got quite a few of her songs on my ipod, and I do play them, so yes, why not? She's a lot closer to me than One Direction are. (I didn't experience WW2.)
Didn't realise until hearing it on Alan Carr's show that she recorded 'Sailing' and I was very surprised what a great version it was, and her voice was very clear and crisp.
