or if you have a friend in the states,get them to send you one as a 'gift' ie pay them but they send it as a gift to avoid taxes.

edgar I dunno what mine is gb-wise but I got it for �24.99 from Tesco.  It works great but perhaps doesn't hold as many tracks as you would like; I have just about 5 CDs on mine, that's all.
