Do you think the estate of Marvin Gaye have a valid claim?

They have launched a bid to claim some of the royalties that Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' earned, because of the similarity to Mr Gaye's 'Got To Give It Up'

I think they have a strong case.

The first time I heard it, I immediately thought of Got To Give It Up.

I think it's worth a claim, but I doubt if there are enough similarities to win a legal. battle, these things are notoriously tricky to prove in law.

That said, claim of not deliberately copying another tune I no defence - as George Harrison found out.
