Have you listened to the new version and if YES how does it compare to the original.

I think I've heard it once or twice. I don't really like any of the singers on this one -except Sinead O'Connor- so don't think too much of it. I always liked the original from whenI was a teenager, despite the inaccuracies in the lyric.

The first time I heard/saw the video I thought it was ok. Now, after hearing it on the radio several times, I'm not impressed. Nothing will ever be as good as the original, I still love it.

It sounds like it is -a load of Egos trying to out sing one another.

I'm not sure I like the rehashing of old songs. Like changing a few words in Candle in the Wind, for Princess Diana. Both Bob Geldof and Elton should written new songs for their respective fundraisers/tributes.

I never liked the song in any version, but it's not really about that.
