It's sad that he died so young, whatever the cause.

A great talent, a great showman,
but for anyone to go at that age is a tragedy.
Yes indeed. Freddie, and 21.8 million others so far...
I loved him granny...Remember this, somehow summed up his life x

Freddie Mercury died over 10 years ago. Delayed shock?

Brian May has flown the flag for Queen.

Hello Maizie, have missed you. You don't come on very often. But then neither do I anymore. Always seem to put my foot in my mouth in other topics.
Nearly 25 years ago. I remember like it was yesterday.
Hi CG... I've been looking after the grandkids for 6 weeks, hence my absence. Great to see you..LOL, no you don't, just say what you feel and forget about anything else. You take care and behave ;o) xxx
Wasn't he something, Cannedgranny.....so talented and so much sex appeal....makes me sad to think how much he had to offer and that he didn't live to fulfill it all.......♥
Barcelona 1992. Freddie Mercury died in 1991. It was a fitting tribute with strong emotion.

I don't think he wanted to gness.... from all I've read, he never ever wanted to get old... He lived his live to the absolute Max. in every way. I still miss him though :o(
Well....I'd have liked him around a bit longer.... love watching him...x

retrotv - No, it's not delayed shock. Just watching someone on TV who could possibly still be alive and still giving pleasure to the world, instead of dying from a desease that could be avoided.
I can only deal with this situation by believing that the person is still alive through their music. My retro list is very long but does include Freddie Mercury regardless of the reason for his death. The Guns N' Roses tribute concert was perfect.

When my mother died my sister and I had to go to Oxford crown court for probate. Freddies will was on display. It was surprising how little he left! Apparently he had already made arrangements to pass his money to others!
decmangan - Freddie left his London mansion to Mary Austin, his girlfriend for a time, and closest friend and confidante.

As advised, he put his financial affairs in order prior to his death - he was a very private person offstage, so the recipients are known only to a few people.
Alert: Queen Live at Wembley, Sky Arts 1 Now. Enjoy.
