I rang the local joiners who have been hired to construct and replace a window, they've been more than tardy about this for months so I left a message on their voice mail telling them exactly what I thought and expected them to do about this delay! Well, well, well; shortly after this call they turned up in their van, offered apologies and have PROMISED to come and fit the new window next Saturday morning.


I'm posting this to try and introduce a bit of lightness/ humour instead of all the news about Cliff Pilchard.

Sorry Cory, nothing much going on today. OH hospital visit took most of the day. Now I need to get some House sale papers sorted and copied for the Solicitors but I'm putting it off, and it's making me grumpy to think about doing it.

Recently prescribed steroids have left me feeing extremely tired and listless so, other than sleep and lounge today, I've been back to the GP to get him to change them.

Feel better already with a glass of côté du Rhône to hand!

Well corylus, after a few weeks of procrastinating, I finally printed, signed and posted over 80 invitations to a cheese and wine reception for our very respected volunteer Michael who was given an MBE in the Queen's Honours List. Happy bunny tonight.

Today I chatted to a lot of people, fed my granddaughter, discovered a fine new cafe and bought a Big Issue. Well done Maggie and congrats to Michael. What a great day.
