I have just heard on radio that Sparks are to tour in UK later this year. Anyone else heard that?

thanks for that.
This reminds me- there's another group out now called Sparks who have a chart single (Cover Drive). Are their no copy right issues over this?
factor, i believe it's the other way round - the band are called cover drive, and "sparks" is taken from their album Bajan Style.
Thanks- I must have misheard
...and I also mistyped 'there'
Well, I'll be there for one of them - Sparks are one of my favourite bands and the first 'pop' group I got into on my own in the early 70s :-) I know chunks of their songs word for word. I hope they get to play Glastonbury at some point.
Howard - be careful. It's not a full band tour, it's "Four hands one mouth" and features the Mael borthers all right, but just the Mael brothers, doing reworkings of their songs. Reviews of their recent London show were very favourable.

I'll be at the HMV Picturehouse in Embra no matter what. A much under rated band indeed.
