Help me with this tune...

All i know: the year is 1997 or 1998, it is from one radio station's hit parade. Recorded on a cassette, made an quite good mp3. Style is vocal europop / house (dance) song singing by a woman (beautiful vocal). I know for sure that this song sampled "Gabriel Faure - Pavane". Here is a link to that tune:

I have been recording tracks for 40 years and have every top 40 track in my collection, if you post some lyrics or further info I'll be able to tell you otherwise I'm gonna have to go through all the tracks on my chart cassettes from those years and make suggestions. What other info do you have ? Can you at least pinpoint the time of year ?

Northernpopquiz: You can listen to it, i posted in my question a link to that tune on zippyshare. On that same cassette i have hits like "Madonna - Frozen" or "Dannii Minogue - Disremembrance", but i do not know which month of which year that was. The years 1997-1998 are for sure. Lyrics: "Together, forever (or farewell), sometimes i feel (or fear) your love..." Sorry, i am not english, i do not recognize all the lyrics. If you can help me, i will be very thankful to you.

Ok lordavalon thx for the info your month is March 1998, possible answers for your elusive europop / house in the chart at the time are The Promise by Essence, The Word Is Love by Voices Of Life, Uh La La La by Alexia, Santa Maria by DJ Milano, Show Me Love by Robyn and Dream Another Dream by Rialto. Hopefully it will be one of these, let me know if not and I will search again.

Northernpopquiz: It was a dance / club chart. On that cassette i have theese hits: 1. Era - Ameno, 2. Koala - Australia, 3. The Space Brothers - Forgiven, 4. Dannii - Disremembrance, 5. my mysterious tune, 6. Plastic - Addicted, 7. Madonna - Frozen, 8. Aqua - Lollipop (Candyman), 9. Alana Dante - Take Me For A Ride, 10. Powerhouse - Rhythm Of The Night, 11. RunDMC - It's Like That. The voice i think is very similar to "Loona", "Ana Torroja", "Alexia", "Gina G" and the style to "Sash!", "X-Perience", "Vertigo", "Nomansland". It is none of songs you posted. Can you search again?

Northernpopquiz: you are right, the month is march 1998, cause the song "Dannii - Disremembrance" was released March 16, 1998 and that tune is on my cassette right after Dannii's song. So, i think march, or maybe april 1998. Something tells me this two songs were together as new in that radio chart.

Hello again lordavon, the next track after Danni on my cassette is Weird by Hanson so you have a different chart to me, however, here are some suggestions for other releases in your genre around the same time, La Primavera by Sash, Ready For A New Day by Todd Terry, Shout To The Top by Fire Island, Love Shy by Kristine Blond, Rewind by Celetia. That takes you to April 11th, hopefully it is there now.

Calibax: yes, it really samples (you can hear it at the start), but the songs differs in lyrics and in style as well. Do you recognize the female vocalist? I do not tink it is a common female voice.
