I used to listen to lots of american singer songwriters in the 70's on vinyl. There was one song that I thought for years was either Rupert Holmes or dean Friedman. It had corny lines and snatches of the star spangled banner in the last part. Something about a bloke getting off with a girl at a concert and when he asks her name she replies and he says " that was my mothers name"
Help!!! its nbugged me for years.
