court date vacated

had a court date for a red light offence and have just recieved a letter to say the court date has been vacated.does this mean i will be gettinga new date or the case has been dropped

If you have read the other questions you may have noticed i ran a red light! I took responsibility and im waiting for the fine and the 3points, you will get a new date! They wont let you off!

sorry i did look but must have missed it and i should have been a bit more open as well. it was not a camera.i was stopped by the traffic police who said i had gone through a red light and who seemed to get upset when told by myself and my passenger that it was green when we passed through.
just hoping that they had dropped it.
