It means the car has at some point in its life been in an accident. It was an insurance write off under category C and its structure / chassis may have sustained damage.
With a category C write off, you cannot get a registration document for it unless it has been checked by VOSA following repair (this one has been checked). I personally would avoid it like the plague. |

It means that the vehicle a some point in its life has been damaged, and following an identity check the v5 has been released to allow the vehicle back onto the road. It is NOT a measure of any repairs being completed or indeed assessed
