can we drive the car

Hi. We have bought a new car today.
We intend to sell our old car in July. The tax runs out on June 30th so we are getting a SORN.
We want to sell it with a full MOT.
We know we can take the car for MOT without a tax disc but what about insurance.
Do we need cover to take it for MOT.

How much to sort out car door lock? no insurance but provisional and no insurance.

willyboy		(Mon 22:48 22/Jun/09) Get in touch with your insurers. They will usually be quite helpful. I would also think that even if it is off road, you should still have at least minimum insurance on it until it's sold.
