my car is a vauxhall corsa 1.2 1996, when i start engine up sometimes the engine making a louder kinda of juddering sound than it normally would, sometimes when i go to go off not all the power is there and kinda judders then it'll pick up speed its not a violent judder its very minor, and then as soon as i put in 2nd gear it does same thing it'll just make some noise and then suddenly pick up its power its like not the all the power or something is releasing and its not going as it should.

and im not sure what it is, also i have noticed some creamy stuff under my oil cap and i know some people say its the head gasket going but i don't believe this i think it may be due to me driving very short distances and the engine not heating up enough thus but i i think il just give it a long run everynow and then to help.

As you said creamy white stuff on your oil cap, is oil and water mixed so the head gasket HAS GONE.
