Anybody know when and if the Number plate MOT requirement for suppliers name and POSTCODE is coming back in. It came in last September for post 2001 cars, but was suspended in October as there was a legal problem. My car and most I have looked at have the suppliers website or phone number, including a couple of police cars?. I think it still is a fixed penalty offence, but I do not think it is inforced unless other offences have occured.

Still not part of the test, but no doubt it will be re introduced at some point
possibly the brake fluid level is low?
top it up and see what happens
Now that has to be the most random thing anyone has said on here ct75
Last month my car failed an MOT for this reason. The tester said it was petty but he was caught out at a recent inspection. Also the BSU number must be present in the bottom right hand corner. I had a look around the office car park and some 07 and 08 cars don't have postcode on the plates.

Unless you are in Northern Ireland He should not have failed you car for the number plates, get the garage to contact VOCA for conformation.

That has made me laugh. Was your brake fluid low?
