Sludgey rear wiper

I have a micra (previous model, not the one that's out now) and recently when I squirt my rear windscreen washer, it just comes out in a jelly like sludge. I've tried sticking a pin in the spouts and squirted them for ages to try and clear all that happened was that loads of sludgey stuff came out!

My front washers and rear washers are both from the same reservoir but the front ones are fine and it doesn't need refilled. Someone suggested taking a tube out and blowing through it but I have no idea where to start with that (being a girl) , can anyone direct me on what to do (as step by step as possible) to clear this?

Using washing-up liquid in the washers can cause this type of sludge as it congeals in cold water.
I had to strip out the tubes & reservoir on my daughter's Fiesta about a year ago to wash it all out.
Sorry I can't help with the specifics on a Micra.

As you`ve got a long pipe run from the shared tank, I would try (before doing anything more drastic) draining the tank with the front washers, then filling it with warm, but not boiling water & pumping through , hopefully until clear. If that doesn`t work, you may have to resort to davewrs suggestion.
