How much petrol will i need??

Hi,

I am travelling to Stevenage, Hertfordshire, which according to google maps is 108 miles each way!

I have a citreon saxo 1.1i and normally takes about 30-40 to fill the tank!

Can anyone help me with approx how much petrol i will need....thank you!?

Official figures quote about 46 MPG on a long run for the Saxo 1·1, so lets say 40 for safety.

You'll be doing 216 miles, so 216/40 = 5·4 gallons.

That's near enough 25 litres.

Why?

Honestly, save the fuel. There's nothing in Stevenage worth a 200+ mile round trip!!

Oh, and you will get lost in Stevenage, unless you've got a Sat Nav. Just roads and roundabouts. Took me ages to know where I was going.
