IF you have to disconnect the battery,
does your radio need a code? to get it working again
so many people ask for that info on here.
I have never disconnected while charging.
Never caused any problems.
There is no need to disconnect when charging!! However one day when i needed to charge my battery it was absolutely pooring down with rain so for precaution i took the battery into the house to charge!!
I bet you got soaked taking it out!
