Citroen Picasso Hdi 1.6 Exclusive. The rear disc plates had to be changed at 18,000 miles due to severe wear on the inside surface. Has anybody come across this problem at such low mileage?

if the car doesnt do many miles then the handbrake may stick on a bit, quite common.
this increases wear on brake parts.
if the car sits for long periods of time it may be worth leaving in gear rather than with handbrake on
