Hilarious, aaaargh! moment........
Little boy is well behaved but as for the girl, she has embarrassed her mother in my opinion and yet mother is laughing. An interesting interview ruined by an ill disciplined child.
Perhaps a smack?

I thought it was funny when I watched it yesterday. The child was encouraged by the interviewer.

I don't believe in a child should be seen and not heard. She's been taken into a completely new environment and she's curious.

Would you expect the mother to smack her live on air?

The "smack" comment was prophylactic i.e it should have been a part of her upbringing, in order to avoid this sort of ill disciplined behaviour.

no smack on air ! but it was disruptive..the presenter could only smile through gritted teeth , bet he was seething, would like to have heard the input from the director's gallery !

No smack at all. She was acting her age. They shouldn't have invited her on.

The problem began long before the interview. The mother was brought up by parents who themselves were brought up by Dr Spock who told them to not restrain the child, and yet years later when one of his children wrote a book about her childhood, it transpired that Dr Spock used to beat the *** out of them.

day"...the parents brought up the children, some successfully, others less so.

Sqad I didn't think it funny either. When I was looking at it all I felt uncomfortable. Alastair has been furious - boy oh boy was that a real smile - I think he coulda murdered her LOL
