When I first saw the photo Mikey, I thought they were his feet under the wreck of the car, wearing red trainers on :-)
Don't know the full details, I think the driver / owner underestimated the power of the car, the new owners of these cars must take a course in the driving of this super car, he's lost his car but he's here to tell the tail.

Does anyone know what the average insurance costs would be for such an expensive car ?
I think you are talking in the region of £10000>>>>>>onwards Mikey.

Flipping Heck TWR ! And, to answer my own question, its almost certain that any NCB will have disappeared.
If a car is written-off the insurance policy dies with it. In other words, when you replace the vehicle and go to insure it you will have to get a brand new policy. Some companies will give you a starting NCB for a new policy but I can't see that happening if you've just written-off a car such as the Ferrari.
I mentioned a young lass on here that ask me to look for a car for her last week, she was quoted £1200 Full comp, that's a vast difference but will give you some idea I would think.
