If I was to park on a road that had pay and display machines on these two days without a valid ticket, what are the chances if getting fined?

Many pay and display parks are free on bank holidays. But I can't see a traffic warden working on Christmas Day or boxing day , may be wrong though.
Machines usually tell you whether the charges are applicable on Bank Holidays.
I got fined in the early hours of Christmas day day last year, at a hospital, where my daughter was having a baby... Be careful x
