opened window and when trying to close it --no go . Pressed open/shut but no go Manual no help so anyone there with a solution to please gelp

I'm guessing it's an electric window??
Have you tried the other windows - maybe the fuse has blown??

What car? try banging the Door card, there's a connecting Electric Plug within the door, If the car has 2 switches can you swap them?
