BANNED is permanent in the name you were banned under.

SUSPENSIONS vary in length, some do turn out to be permanent.

USER INACTIVE is a person's choice to leave and may be undone with the Ed's approval.

I dislike the word 'Flounce' myself.

I don't understand the last bit of your OP???
I think the last bit was supposed to be a joke, Ummmm.
It's a weak joke. Depends on the double meaning of 'carrying a child'either literally or being pregnant.
Oh, ok :-/
Don't give up the day job lol lol
jennyjoan - A suspension usually occurs if an AB'er is flouting Site Rules and has ignored a warning from the Ed to pack it in. The suspension is to give the AB'er time to calm down and then come back.

A ban usually means that a suspension has not taught the lesson sufficiently, and the AB'er is not going to respond to requests to obey Site Rules, and therefore has to go.

Some banned AB'ers re-surface with another name, but tend to end up banned again, with the leopard/spots interface coming into play.
