Automatic Or Not?

My car is an automatic but nowhere on the paperwork for registration details
does it say so - am I missing something?

I've just had a look at our documents, 2 x auto, 1 x Man, you're right, it doesn't say.
I suppose the D/L category of the driver is all that matters not the gear train of the vehicle? Propulsion i.e ICE or battery only concerns RFL matters.
Does it have a clutch pedal thats the most obvious giveaway. There must be something in the registration coding as i believe, if you pass your test on an automatic, your arent licensed to drive a manual.
Just checked the V5 for my car and it doesn't say if it's an auto or a manual ( it'a manual ).
However there are quite a few cars these day's that have 'Flappy Paddle' semi automatic gears, this blurs the lines between an auto and manual gearbox imo.
