Is there anything i could add to my diesel van (vauxhall combo, i.3, 05 plate, 103k miles) when i fill up with diesel that will benefit the van ?

Theres plenty of different additives, hammerman. Have a look at the ones on this link and see what they purport to do.

No additives are necessary nowadays.

Are you having problems with your van, hammerman ?.
Maybe been adding dodgy additives . ;-)
Redex is probably the best known fuel additive (and is available everywhere from Halfords and filling stations to supermarkets). Most people who use it praise it but the same probably applies to homeopathy and witchcraft; whether the effect is real or 'all in the mind' is still open to debate.

Thanks guys, not having a problem, just wondered if there's anything i could/should add to help the engine and fuel system stay in good condition.
A good hard run clears all the C R A P Hammerman, I use Wynns Redex every 2>>3 Fill, do not use cheap otherwise you will pay the price, if the van is Black Smoking replace the Injectors.
